Make Venues has been recognised by its customers again, winning in a number of categories in the BVA BDRC Venue Verdict Awards, announced this week.

Despite the incredibly difficult trading conditions that blighted those looking to book meetings and training in 2020, the group was still able to create safe, secure and productive environments for its guests. It is this customer-led feedback that BVA BDRC use when selecting its award winners, adding to the incredible achievement for the group.

At the 2020 BVA BDRC Venue Verdict awards, Make Venues was named:

  • No.1 Small & Mid-Sized Group (3-14 properties), and
  • Best Value for Money Venue Group, both for the ninth year running,

Meanwhile, the group’s Engineers’ House venue was awarded:

  • No.1 Conference Centre, again, for the ninth year running, and
  • No.1 Venue(s) Overall

“We’re incredibly proud of our record in achieving customer-led recognition for what we do across our venues, every day,” commented David Vaughton, Managing Director, Make Venues. “These awards do mean a little more to us though; it’s never been harder to give customers the quality they deserve, but also the confidence to book in a venue that can ensure the safety of themselves, their staff and their guests.”

Make Venues is advising its customers not to wait to book meetings, training events or bedrooms, but to confirm dates now and get ahead of their competition. The group now has nine years of continuous recognition for its ability to provide award-winning service, ensuring those customers can book with confidence.
